So here's a good reminder about the 4 P's:

PEOPLE: Check on your neighbors, friends and/or family to ensure they're prepared for the extreme cold. Then, check on them throughout the cold weather to make sure they are okay.

PETS: Bring your fur friends inside. If this is not possible, make sure they have adequate shelter, and access to extra food and fresh water.

PIPES: Make sure to insulate your pipes. You can also leave faucets dripping during the cold overnight hours to prevent issues.

PLANTS: To protect your plants, bring them indoors. If that's not possible, you can cover them with sheets, preventing the frost from coating them.
