We are closely monitoring the weather predictions for Friday. A decision about how school will be handled on Friday will be made closer to the potential weather event when more accurate forecasts and information are available. Delaying this decision allows the district to determine a plan for school on Friday that maximizes student learning while also minimizing the burden on parents who need supervision for their children. We will make every effort to make a decision regarding school on Friday prior to dismissal on Thursday. 

Based on the timing of weather according to the current forecasts, all field trips, athletic events, and activities scheduled for Friday and Saturday are canceled and will be rescheduled when possible. Schools will communicate the details for each of those events. This decision has been made so that buses are available if early dismissal is needed and rescheduling on the front end provides additional options such as moving Friday night events ahead to Thursday night if possible.
